The pyromusical was designed and programmed by Rusty Johnson, our Victorian display manger, and it was the first time Rusty has designed and programmed a large scale pyromusical. It was also the first time he has designed and programmed a competition display so its a great achievement for Rusty on his debut.

The spectacular 18 minute pyromusical was fired from a barge in Manilla and featured a great Australian music but also included a compulsory segment of Philippine music that all competitors were required to use in their displays.

"I'm very happy with the show we put on for the huge crowd last night, and I'm very happy with winning the silver medal. For my very first pyromusical competition display I did not have any award expectations for do win 2nd place I'm over the moon." Rusty Johnson said after accepting his award at last nights presentation.

"During the show we had a small problem with a 150mm shell on the barge which had an impact on our 125mm and 150mm shells for the remainder of the show that meant our finale was not as full and as impactful as I had planned, so to still win the silver medal is a great achievement for the entire team."
